A segment like this can only be hand crafted with precision detail, timing and style, exlusively by top hat final cut editors.

super 8 cake
One of the "stylized" segments available in the deluxe package.
In this sample, a cake cutting scene is given the vintage home movie look through an exclusive process that adds film grain, snapped film clips, stacking shots with what appears to be random cuts.
Throw in a rendering of an old projector lamp and even projector sound effects. Assembled in sequence with an intentionally scratchy, victrola sounding version of the cake cutting song.

The original, uncut version of a "stylized" segment is included on the special features menu of your DVD.
out-take reel
Here is all the stuff that we found on the "cutting room floor," scences that would not appear in the final cut...get a final cut of their own!
Filled with tiny chuckles, sometimes only obvious to those who were there, but you get the idea.
An outake reel like this is only possible when surprises occur while the camera is rolling.
As seen in this clip, the best surprises are simply people having fun and being themselvess.
